What I think about high school is that it’s a way to get kids into their future and become more like adults. However, I feel that I’m not ready for high school and just want to stay in the “middle school zone.” This is the place where I feel safe because once you become an adult, you have to go through bills, taking care of kids, and all of these tests that doctors have to give you and I don’t want to cross that bridge when you go from a kid to an aldult just yet. Back then when my mom was in high school, it wasn’t as difficult as it is today. They might of had just one test to be able to graduate, but now a days, kids, or teens, have to take SAT’S and more tests to see your ability level for college or have a good education. However, also back then, you didn’t have to go to college to get a good job and make good money, but now, you do! Everything is becoming harder and harder to just live your life! Then you get under the pressure of thinking that you’re never going to be successful with life because that SAT is practically your future! Everything that you do in high school is your future. That’s why I’m afraid that if I fail in my classes, my future will be terrible! I don’t have enough courage yet to acheive my goals in life, which is making me afraid of high school. Maybe by the end of the year I will have more courage to acheive my goals but if I don’t, then I’ll be a mess.

Another thing with high school is that you never know which on to go to! Right now, I’m stuck with two different ones, but I’m not sure which one I want to go to. One is just a public school and the other one is a private school. The private school is a better chance for me to get into a good college which would be for my furture, but the only problem is that it is harder to get an A than the public school because they’re all college preperation courses. Plus, it costs a lot of money to go to a private school because just the bus fee is around $800 just for one year! Hopefully our family will get some financial aid! However, all of my friends and the people who help me get through life are going to the public school. This is a great way to get me through high school because then they will encourage me to be more outgoing. Plus, there are some other courses that I would like to take at the public school rather than the ones at the private school. There’s just too many decisions!

In the end, high school is all about tough decisions and hard work. Some how in the end, it will pay off though!
