What do you like best on where you live?

          The best thing about living here is that we have all of the seasons. We have fall, winter, summer, and spring with the weather that naturally goes with it. For example, down south where Florida is, they hardly get any snow for the winter. However, here we get A LOT of snow. It’s nice though because then you can go sledding and actually experience a snow ball fight. In addition, our summers are really warm and it’s also fun to go swimming, going in the sprinkler, or a trip to the beach, which I love! If I ever move, I would really miss this factor of where I live!

What makes your school unique?

          The thing that makes our school unique is pretty much the teachers. Every teacher is different and have their own way of teaching their students. For example, Mr. Bogush teaches us real-world things that we might, and probably will, face during life. Like blogging and using the computer. On the other hand, Mr. Nagel, my science teacher, goes by the book, but we learn sooo much that way. So, I like my school because if every teacher was the same, I would get bored really easily!

Ok, Three words for this election is…

We Need Change.

Why I chose these three words for the three words project is because when ever I turn on the TV, I always hear that we need change, which is true. However, when we get elected a new president, we have to know how they are going to change our country.

We need change. That’s all I can say. It doesn’t matter if we need change in gas prices, economy, or even in global warming to make a difference, but we need change in Washington, D.C.

           I wonder if the world will end soon. Have you ever thought about that or in this case, wondered about it. The world doesn’t last forever like us, but it does live longer. I know that this is a scary thought, but think about all of the things the world has been through. Nuclear bombs, polution, what else? Now everyone is concerned about global warming! Our environment, which would be the world, is all wacked up. The weather in the winter is seeming to be getting warmer. The summers are seeming to be getting warmer, too! Aren’t they warm enough? Even the poles are getting warmer every year even though you may not notice it.  Did you notice that in the fall it would rain, be sunny, and then suddenly get cold all in the same week. Well, if you have, then that’s what I mean by how our weather is all wacked out. Many people beleive this too. What about you? Do you ever wonder if the world will end soon?

                  Well, how was your weekend? Mine was awesome. My friend and I went to the fall out boy concert and it was fun. My throat hurts from screaming so much! there was sooo much to do there because the plain white t’s, gym class heros, soulja boy, and cute is what we aim for were there too! I’m surprised that the tickets were only $30. Anyway, if your bored, I suggest that you go to a concert!!!

            Hey! Check these sounds!!! But sounds made from what? An empty ranch dressing bottle, of course!!!

Over the weekend, my friend and i wanted to have salad. So, we got out the lettuce, and then we took out the dressing (ranch), and then the forks. ( We were bored, so we wanted to make something.) After that, we went to squeze the ranch bottle and it sounded funny! It was a unique sound from a bottle. when you get home, get out some ranch for salad or veggies and squeze it!!! But make sure that there’s a tinsy bit left or it won’t work.

You can do it anywhere, but i perfer at home! :) 

Did you know that you can put ranch dressing on pizza crust if you don’t like veggitables? yummy!!!

How well do you know your voice?

      Well, in S.S., we have to write a blog on a person that either died or was born on the day you write your blog. Mine just so happens to be on Halloween, or October 31, This was in the year of 1968. The person I picked is a rapper called Vanilla Ice, or you may know him as the guy who sings ice ice baby. He’s not only a singer, but he’s an actor ( cool as ice they called him.) Anyway, he was born on Halloween. This person is who I dedicate this blog to because he brought this world a great song, his hard work, and his proformance. In the end, he’s a great rapper who brought this world sooo many good memories. The contribution that he has brought during that time period is the music many enjoy and the many  movies we enjoy, which occured in 1968.

        Guess what today is? HALLOWEEN!!! I’m going to be a football player and I cannot wait! I get to go with all of my friends, well not all of them, but some of them and I’m just sooooo excited!!! This is one of my favorite holidays because you get to be whatever you want to be without someone judging you and you get free candy! How kool is that?! I <333 Halloween. So, if you’re reading this, what is your favorite holiday and what are you being for halloween?

         Today, I’m going to write about Walmart! Well, pretty much everyone knows what Walmart is, but not too much info. So, I e-mailed them on how it is like to work their and how much their workers get paid. Obviously they’re going to say all of the positive things by working at Walmart, but once you find out how much the cashiers get paid, your not going to think that Walmart is a great place to work. Walmart is great store and you can by a lot of things for a cheap price, but what about the workers? How do they feel about their saleries? Well, I think that their salaries are also cheap! Why work there when you can be setting a better example? I know that they need workers, but imagine if you can pick a different job. What if you get fired? Then where are you going to go? Whoever thinks that they’re set for their life and they have nothing better to do, they’re wrong! There is more to life!!! ( I’m talking about someone who has no skills or WHAT SO EVER!) 

       However, Walmart is also doing or affecting more!They are importing goods from China or foreign countries and they don’t even care about our own country! Lots of American companies are closing because Walmart imports from these foreign countries. Although it is not entirely their fault because of NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement.), Walmart does have a lot to do with it.

    Today, I wanted/ had to look up some other blog. I found this: http://www.makezine.com/blog/archive/2007/egg_from_makers_.html

 How I found that out was that I went to google and it brings you to this blog when you type in: blog+eggs. Then I clicked the first link that appered after I pressed ” search.” So, I actually just typed in something ramdom but then it lead me to this website that shows you how to make egg crafts! It’s so cool!

 The blog that I read wasfun to read and it wasn’t really a blog post, it was more like directions on how to make egg designs. The blogs I considered was the really cool one that I gave you a link to. What you can learn, and what I did learn, was how to make lego eggs. It’s a hard boiled egg that is designed like a lego. A thought on this is that you can make your own egg however you like. It gave me some ideas for Easter!!!

Why I chose this quote from the blog, I relized that it was interesting because I’ve never heard of an onion dyed easter egg and I learned a lot more things out of this blog! I suggest that you check this blog out so you can do the neat projects they have for you!!!
